You'll assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care. Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.At Metropolitan Animal Emergency and Specialty Center we provide services to the greater Washington Metropolitan area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Your Experience & SkillsDoctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree requiredState Veterinary Board License: Active and in good standing for the state of intended employmentObtained prior to start dateActive DEA license or DEA licensure eligibleExperience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
