Area Sales Manager - Medical Device - Capital Equipment – Atlanta, GA Job Openings Area Sales Manager - Medical Device - Capital Equipment – Atlanta, GA We are seeking a driven and dynamic Area Sales Manager to generate revenue, expand market presence, and execute proven sales strategies within an assigned geographic territory. Job Type: Full‑time Location: Remote with regional travel (60%) Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed established sales quotas for the territory Generate leads through in‑person and phone‑based cold calling Present products, answer customer questions, and demonstrate features and pricing Attend industry conventions and represent the company professionally Move prospects through the full sales cycle and close dealslus Create and close emotional sales opportunities Manage multiple time‑sensitive tasks simultaneously Overcome objections and convert them into sales Perform product demonstrations Utilize all available resources—including reference sites, clinical specialists, and partner personnel—to achieve short‑ and long‑term goals Cross‑sell additional products Collaborate with sales representatives inside and outside the territory to share best practices and support group sales goals Provide timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline reports via CRM (Salesforce) Build relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, urologists, OB/GYNs, and private practice physicians Assist Territory Sales Managers in closing deals and provide mentorship as needed Carry and manage a seven‑figure sales quota Required Competencies Initiative and strong problem‑solving ability Technical aptitude Excellent organizational skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to retain and communicate large amounts of information Education & Experience High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser technology Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas Skills Positive, team‑oriented attitude Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Salesforce experience preferred Strong multitasking ability Excellent written and verbal communication Work Environment This is a remote role requiring regular use of standard office equipment and regional travel (60%).
