Dietitian

Registered Dietitian Eklego seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join a full‑time nursing team in Rochester, NY. The role supports individuals with developmental disabilities and requires compliance with nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures. Coordinate with registered nurses regarding medical and nutritional requirements. Provide nutrition education to individuals and direct support staff on healthy eating habits and monitoring. Complete necessary documentation, including assessments and progress notes, as requested by RN, ML, or physician. Maintain communication with guardians, RN, staff, and Director of Nursing. Collaborate with team members and follow up on recommendations agreed to by dietitians. Provide tools and/or in‑service training for staff in nutrition, diabetes, safety, and sanitation. Attend required meetings, including ISP and case study meetings. Participate in agency functions and community meetings as requested. May provide supervision and education to local college dietitian students, as approved by Director of Nursing. Qualifications B.S. level degree in Nutrition or higher and a New York State license. Prior experience with developmental disabilities is preferable. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, meeting client motor‑vehicle standards. We are an equal opportunity employer.
