CAD Technician

About the Role We are seeking a motivated CAD Technician to join our growing engineering team. This position will support the planning, design, and production of civil engineering projects including land development, transportation, municipal infrastructure, and utility improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and proficient in CAD software. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Prepare and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design. Support project engineers with design calculations and technical documentation. Prepare plans, exhibits, specifications, and construction documents. Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, project managers, and clients. Conduct field visits and assist with data collection as needed. Maintain project files and ensure adherence to company drafting standards. Qualifications Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and site development. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr Innovative Engineering & Consulting, Inc.
