What You’ll Do The Essentials: Own the full cycle of accounting transactions, from AP and cash receipts to bi‑weekly payroll support. Grant & Budget Mastery: Develop specialized skills in grant budgeting—a highly sought‑after expertise in the non‑profit world. Process Innovation: Don’t just follow the manual; we want you to proactively look for ways to make our financial processes faster and smarter. Team Collaboration: Serve as a subject matter expert by training staff on expense coding and supporting the wider Finance team. Compliance & Reporting: Handle 1099s, sales tax filings, and equipment listings with precision. Who You Are Educated & Experienced: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Ideally, you have at least 1 year of recent experience in an automated accounting environment. Tech‑Savvy: You’re a pro in Microsoft Excel and feel right at home navigating modern accounting software. Detailed & Diligent: You have a "detective’s eye" for accuracy and the ability to maintain deep concentration.
