Automotive Sales Assistant

Job Title

We are seeking an individual that can perform multiple tasks relating to dealership sales. The primary functions of this position focus on the constantly evolving technology aspect of vehicles. After a customer purchases a vehicle, you should be able to thoroughly explain all the vehicle’s features and technology to the customer. Prior vehicle knowledge is valuable, but not required as the appropriate training will be provided. In addition to this, you should be able to effectively communicate with customers in a professional, courteous manner. Other aspects of the position include driving many different vehicles, assisting with various marketing campaigns, both physical and digital, as well as assisting with certain aspects of the vehicle sales process. Entry level computing skills, to include Microsoft Word and Excel, are required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate new vehicle features and technology to customers
• Transport vehicles and perform various driving tasks
• Aid sales staff in the selling process when necessary
• Ensure all on-vehicle advertisements are displayed properly
• Perform on-site, remote deliveries of vehicles to customers
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks required by the dealership

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Basic computing skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn about new technologies and vehicles
• Proper time management
• Promptness
• Knowledge of current technologies and smartphones
