Surgical Technologist - Flexible Schedules!

We are seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist or Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in ensuring the smooth execution of surgeries. Our Surgical Technologists provide essential supplies, meticulously set up surgical stations according to provider preferences, and aseptic technique guidelines, and adhere to infection control policies and procedures. They conduct surgical counts to maintain inventory accuracy and provide crucial assistance to surgeons with equipment and instrumentation during procedures. Additionally, they manage medications, adhere to safety protocols, collaborate seamlessly with the surgical team to maintain an efficient schedule, and ensure proper documentation and preparation of instruments for sterilization. Successful Surgical Technologists excel in interpersonal connections with their team, demonstrate effective communication skills, and strive for service excellence. They also contribute to room turnover, terminal cleaning, stocking, and preparing OR rooms for subsequent procedures.

About the OR Department

Our vibrant Operating Room (OR) department, boasts 15 innovative OR suites catering to a wide array of specialties including orthopedic, spine, ear, nose, throat, urology, general surgery, and more. As the largest staffed department in the company, teamwork is at the core of our culture, fostering a comfortable and seamless patient experience. Flexible daytime schedules working Monday - Friday, include:

• Five 8-hour shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Three 12-hour shifts
• NO WEEKENDS. NO ON-CALL. NO HOLIDAYS.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required.
• CST certification required; can be obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS certification required; can be obtained upon hire.
• One plus year of surgical technologist experience preferred.
