Shift: 12-Hour Days (07:00 - 19:30) — 3 shifts/week

Hours/Week: 36

Employment Type: Contract (W-2)

Licensure/Certifications: KS RN or Compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHF

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ICU / Critical Care experience; must have experience with CRRT, Bipaps, labs, chest tubes, PICC, no vascular access team, call on own consults, conduct own codes

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized ICU patient care, including managing ventilators, CRRT, and other critical therapies
• Monitor and administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Conduct and interpret lab draws and diagnostic tests
• Respond to emergency situations, including codes and rapid response calls
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (Epic)
• Float to other inpatient units and Emergency Department as needed

What You Need

• Valid Kansas RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHF certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU/ Critical Care experience
• Experience with CRRT, Bipaps, labs, chest tubes, PICC lines
• Ability to conduct own codes, respond independently to consults

• Experience working in a fast-paced critical care environment

About the Assignment This temporary critical care RN role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Olathe, Kansas. The position involves providing advanced ICU care, including ventilator management, critical therapies, and emergency response.
