Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Strong sterile technique
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs
• Ability to adapt to a variety of surgical specialties
• Experience in a fast-paced perioperative environment
• Proficiency in preparing and organizing instrumentation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the perioperative team
• Experience scrubbing a broad range of procedures including Spine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry
• Flexibility to work in other specialties as needed

Assignment Details:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Hours: 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM
• Rotating call is required
• Holiday call is required
