Korzen Health is proud to partner with one of the leading behavioral health hospitals in the Jacksonville, Florida area. We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a well-established, physician-led inpatient behavioral health team in a full-time capacity.

Position Overview
This full-time adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with one night of call per week and one weekend of on-site rounding per month. The position includes involvement in PHP/IOP programming, access to ECT for patients requiring advanced treatment, psychiatric consult responsibilities, and the opportunity to hold a GME faculty appointment teaching and mentoring psychiatry residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult and geriatric inpatients
• Manage adult and geriatric inpatient and PHP/IOP treatment plans
• Administer and oversee Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) treatment
• Provide psychiatric consultation services as needed
• Supervise and collaborate with midlevel providers (NPs/PAs)
• Teach, supervise, and mentor psychiatry residents as GME faculty
• Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in shared call coverage

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
• Experience with adult and geriatric psychiatry
• Experience with ECT preferred
• Interest in GME teaching and resident supervision a plus
• Comfortable supervising and collaborating with midlevel providers
• Strong communication and leadership skills
