We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pellet Mill Operator with strong PLC experience to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pellet mill equipment, with a heavy focus on PLC-controlled systems , to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate pellet mill and related production machinery in accordance with company standards
• Monitor and adjust PLC-controlled equipment to maintain optimal production performance and product quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC systems, controls, and automated processes
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to minimize downtime
• Interpret system data, alarms, and fault codes to quickly identify and correct issues
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA and company guidelines
• Accurately document production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities
• Communicate effectively with maintenance and production teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
• Strong experience with PLC operations, controls, and troubleshooting is required
• Ability to diagnose and resolve automation and control system issues
• Experience with pellet mills or similar processing equipment is a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Ability to read gauges, measurements, and production documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to work flexible schedules

Schedule:

• Day and night shifts available
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs
