Food Production Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Production Manager to take ownership of our dairy processing operations. The successful candidate will ensure the production of high-quality dairy products, adhering to safety and quality standards, while minimizing losses and enhancing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire dairy processing operation, ensuring high standards of production.
• Collaborate with a team of 10+ staff members, driving performance and productivity.
• Work closely with the Quality Control Manager and Food Scientist to maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and analyze KPI reports to track production performance.
• Identify opportunities to increase production efficiency and reduce losses.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for maximum equipment uptime.
• Ensure accurate product tracking and inventory management.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a production or similar environment; food and dairy manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in team management.
• Strong food manufacturing, safety, and production supervision skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, MS Office Suite, and Netsuite.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.

This is a permanent position based out of Moonachie, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
