Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans that align with our accredited curriculum.
• Lead and support classroom staff while maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Follow daily classroom schedules and center policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding classroom activities, developmental milestones, progress, and important updates.
• Engage children through purposeful play, hands-on learning experiences, and open-ended conversations that promote critical thinking and curiosity.
• Observe, assess, and document children's development as required.
• Complete additional classroom and center responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet  Minnesota Department of Human Services Rule 3 Teacher qualifications , including a  Child Development Associate (CDA)credential, qualifying college coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or through a qualifying bachelor's degree.
• Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality early childhood education.
• Willingness to complete 90 day probationary period and adhere to the center's policies.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $14.00–$20.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
