We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to support an engineering and manufacturing organization working on complex defense systems. This individual will own the administrative structure within the PDM/PLM environment and help drive engineering changes through the configuration management process.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering change requests, change notices, and configuration documentation.
• Maintain product structures and technical data within a formal PDM/PLM system.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to move design changes through the approval and release process.
• Maintain accurate configuration records, revisions, and change history.
• Help strengthen and standardize configuration management processes within a growing environment.

Essential Skills

• 35+ years of Configuration Management experience, preferably within a DoD manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Hands-on experience with engineering change requests/notices (ECRs/ECNs).
• Experience working within formal PDM/PLM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks Vault.
• Familiarity with Deltek.

The work requires collaboration with various teams to facilitate design changes and maintain accurate records. This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
