About the Opportunity

A globally scaled manufacturing organization with a strong focus on vertically integrated chemical and plastics production is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join its site team. The company operates highly complex, capital-intensive manufacturing assets, creating a work environment centered on process safety, reliability, and long-term operational excellence.

Why This Role

This is a key, site-based Environmental Engineering position supporting a major chemical/plastics manufacturing facility. The role is open due to an internal transfer, creating an immediate opportunity to step into a highly visible position with full environmental ownership.

Start Date: ASAP

Details:

Open to candidates with 3–15 years of Environmental Engineering experience
Schedule: 9/80 work schedule
Strong culture fit valued alongside technical experience

Key Responsibilities

Provide full-scope environmental engineering support across the site
Lead and support compliance programs across air, water, waste, and regulatory requirements
Partner with operations and leadership to drive environmental performance and continuous improvement
Support permitting, reporting, and regulatory interactions
Contribute to long-term environmental strategy and optimization initiatives
