TM BIOWATER Warehouse Associate - Job Scope Reports To: Operations Manager / Project Manager / Logistics Manager Location: Louisiana Position Summary The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and palletizing raw materials, packaging components, and finished products. This position ensures inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and compliance with company procedures while supporting manufacturing and distribution operations. In pharmaceutical and GMP manufacturing environments, the Warehouse Associate follows Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and TM BioWater Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure material traceability and product integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving Operations Receive incoming shipments from local and international purchase orders. Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies. Label and identify received materials. Report damaged or non-conforming materials. Store materials in designated warehouse locations. Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory records. Perform daily cycle counts. Assist with physical inventory counts. Rotate inventory using FIFO or FEFO methods. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages. Maintain lot and batch traceability. Warehouse Operations Pick materials for production orders. Organize warehouse storage locations. Maintain clean and orderly warehouse conditions. Stage materials for manufacturing. Restock warehouse inventory locations. Shipping Operations Pick order based on provided order picking form. Assist in packing and Palletizing customer shipments. Package products according to SOP standards. Verify order accuracy with shipping department before shipment. Equipment Operation Operate warehouse equipment safely, including: Hand trucks Forklifts (if certified) Perform routine equipment inspections before use. Tool Control Issue and track tools/equipment for production and maintenance staff, ensuring accurate records. Perform inspections, minor repairs, and calibrations to ensure tools are safe and functional. Coordinate calibration schedules for precision measuring instruments Conduct inventory counts to ensure tools checked out are checked back in. Documentation Complete receiving logs. Record inventory transactions. Maintain warehouse logs. Quality & Compliance Follow FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (21 CFR Parts 210 & 211), where applicable. Comply with warehouse SOPs. Maintain inventory traceability. Support internal and external audits. Ensure proper storage conditions for all materials. Safety Follow OSHA safety regulations. Maintain safe warehouse conditions. Practice proper lifting techniques. Keep aisles and exits clear. Minimum Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year of experience in: Warehouse operations Shipping and receiving Inventory control Distribution Manufacturing Qualify or Possess a Twic Card Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business. Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or manufacturing warehouse. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Familiarity with barcode scanning systems. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office). Knowledge & Skills Warehouse Operations Inventory Control Attention to Detail Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Push and pull pallet jacks and carts. Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. Work in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
