Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population on a Medical Surgical unit
• Participate in patient and family teaching throughout the continuum of care
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Float to additional units as needed, including custodial patient assignments with higher patient ratios and lower acuity

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or qualifying Compact license
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must have own reliable personal vehicle for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple inpatient units in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with adult-geriatric patient populations in a regional referral center environment
