Mechanical EngineerThe Mechanical Engineer assists in the planning, conceptualization, and creation of mechanical designs for new and existing Percussionaire products. This position will ensure projects have a successful design and execution through collaborating with all aspects of engineering. This position is based in our Sandpoint, ID facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborates with cross-functional teams, both onsite and remote, to support project execution and ensure alignment across stakeholdersParticipates in IQ/OQ/PQ activities, including drafting qualification plans for internal use or vendor testingProduces specifications for products and assists in selecting raw materials and components to be used in productions and builds models/prototypes of the product and tests the designUses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the productWorks with vendors to establish purchasing and manufacturing requirements and collection of specifications
