This position reports to the Accounting Manager. We work as individuals, team members and as part of a growing and innovative law firm. This position manages a high volume of invoices, check and reimbursement requests in compliance with firm policies and procedures.This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position, Monday through Friday.We foster a modern, business-professional environment where employees are valued and supported. In addition to competitive compensation, we are proud to offer our employees a comprehensive benefits packages, generous paid time-off, 401k plan with profit sharing, and free parking.Bush Ross is an EEO employer.Essential responsibilities of the position will include:Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices, check requests and supporting documentationElectronic file uploads for client costRespond to internal and external inquiries in an effective, efficient, and professional mannerFile monthly sales and use tax returnsBalance sheet account and vendor statement reconciliationsProcess AP uploads from supporting financial systems and softwareProcess Credit Card and Expense Reimbursement requestsSetup and maintain all vendor accountsProduce ad hoc reportsSpecial projects and additional duties as assignedIdeal candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications:2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a law firm environmentKnowledge of general accounting principles and proceduresExperience with high volume accurate data entryThorough understanding of the 1099 processExceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlinesIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, online Portals and accounting software programs
