Overview Cambridge Health Alliance , a Harvard Medical School teaching affiliate, is an award-winning academic public healthcare system recognizing innovation and community excellence. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting a full-time Ob/Gyn Physician to provide full spectrum gynecological, obstetric, maternity and reproductive health care services. In addition to patient care, this physician has dedicated time as a clinician informaticist, reporting to the Chief Information Officer for CHA (CHIO). Responsibilities Work in various settings including outpatient clinics, Labor & Delivery, and in the operating room. Position is located in Cambridge, with flexibility to practice in either Somerville or Revere. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Certified Nurse Midwives, Family Medicine Physicians, Ob/Gyn PAs, and Nurse Practitioners. Manage an established patient panel from diverse backgrounds and accommodate new patients. Maintain a manageable call schedule. Opportunities to teach medical students and residents from Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center across all settings. HMS appointment as Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with appointment criteria, qualifications, and teaching responsibilities. In the IT role, serve as liaison between CHA Information Technology and OBGYN and Perinatal Operations to inform population health and value-based care initiatives. Drive optimization of the electronic health record to promote workflow efficiencies and high-quality patient care while reducing provider burden. Identify data requirements and coordinate advancement of clinical information systems to satisfy organizational data needs. For those interested/experienced, participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives for the Department. Qualifications Qualified candidates will be BE/BC, with excellent clinical and communication skills, and a commitment to CHA’s mission of serving the underserved, multicultural community. Experience with innovative care models, data analytics, and operational governance is preferred; familiarity with Epic EHR is a plus. Benefits and Compensation CHA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement accounts with matching, generous paid time off, and CME allotment. The full-time base salary range is $250,000–$330,000 and is based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive.
