Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology unit night shift position requiring IN or compact RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work on a 16-bed Oncology Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology, hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow Med/Surg cases
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment and intervention, medication administration, following through with orders, and observing patients
• Document care in EHR and implement and monitor the plan of care
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Local candidates accepted, though rate may be adjusted based on facility radius rule
• Candidates should begin discussing assignment extension with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
