About Us

My Mechanic is a busy, well-established independent automotive repair shop in Englewood, Florida. We are looking for an experienced  B+ Level Alignment and Undercar Technician who takes pride in quality work, accurate diagnostics, and helping customers keep their vehicles safe and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignments
• Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems
• Replace ball joints, control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, shocks, and struts
• Perform brake system diagnostics and repairs
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Communicate findings clearly with service advisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of steering, suspension, brake, and alignment systems
• Ability to diagnose tire wear and drivability concerns
• Experience using alignment equipment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Own tools required
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required
