About Us
My Mechanic is a busy, well-established independent automotive repair shop in Englewood, Florida. We are looking for an experienced B+ Level Alignment and Undercar Technician who takes pride in quality work, accurate diagnostics, and helping customers keep their vehicles safe and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Perform 2-wheel and 4-wheel alignments
- Diagnose and repair steering and suspension systems
- Replace ball joints, control arms, tie rods, wheel bearings, shocks, and struts
- Perform brake system diagnostics and repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Communicate findings clearly with service advisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of steering, suspension, brake, and alignment systems
- Ability to diagnose tire wear and drivability concerns
- Experience using alignment equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Own tools required
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
