This role plays a key part in our clients' continued success and requires strong leadership skills, passion for inspiring, helping, and challenging others. Responsibilities Ensure that all applicable policies and procedures are followed and adhered to. Understand and execute the responsibilities as described in the Counselor’s Handbook and company policies. Complete and maintain all required clinical documentation per company policy, Counselor Handbook and the F.A.C. 65‑D‑30. Facilitate Phase I, II, and III groups per program manuals and company policy. Complete case management for each client as necessary. Attend all staff meetings and scheduled Phase III clinicals. Work toward certification as a CAP and/or take necessary courses to maintain certification on an annual basis. Be available for emergency counseling sessions with any client while on shift. Be available to work all shifts to ensure proper coverage per contract and policy standards. Clock in and out utilizing the company time and attendance system. Perform the major functions of the job with or without an accommodation. Attend all mandatory training specified by policy. Speak, read, write, and understand English. Report all workers’ compensation injuries and breaches of company policy or code of ethics to the appropriate supervisor or HR immediately. Report all unsafe conditions that could affect clients or employees to the appropriate supervisor. Demonstrate organizational abilities and good written and oral communication skills to be eligible for promotion to a supervisory position. Attend supervisory/team‑building training and pass all required tests with a minimum score of 80% to be eligible for promotion. Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related Social Sciences discipline (Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Economics, American Ethnic Studies, Criminal Justice, or Criminology) PLUS two (2) years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling. OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in an unrelated (Non‑Social Science) area of study PLUS three (3) years of professional experience in chemical addictions, substance abuse, and/or mental health counseling. Education and experience may be substituted for each other on a year‑to‑year basis as deemed necessary. Salary is dependent upon experience and certifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
