Job Description Job Description Senior HVAC Technician – Service & Installation TAC Mechanical | North Wales, PA Pay: $30–$40/hour based on experience TAC Mechanical is a family-owned HVAC company serving residential and light commercial customers throughout Bucks and Montgomery Counties. We are a small company with a strong reputation built on quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and long-term relationships. Our technicians are the face of TAC Mechanical, and professionalism is non-negotiable. We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Technician who can confidently perform both service and installation work. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, communicates well with customers, and wants to be part of a team that values quality over sales. What Makes TAC Mechanical Different No sales quotas or commissions No pressure to sell customers equipment they don't need Strong focus on honest recommendations and quality workmanship Family-owned company with a loyal customer base Small service area with most jobs within 30 minutes of our shop Monday–Friday schedule Flexible scheduling options, including four 10-hour days Technicians are trusted, respected, and compensated fairly Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Install replacement HVAC equipment, ductless systems, heat pumps, boilers, furnaces, and air conditioning systems Accurately communicate findings and recommendations to customers Complete work in a clean, professional, and code-compliant manner Maintain detailed service records and job documentation Work independently while supporting team members when needed Participate in overtime opportunities during busy seasons Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as business needs require Qualifications Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience Proven experience in both service and installation EPA Certification required Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation to and from work Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with: Heat pumps Boilers Oil-fired systems Gas furnaces Air conditioning systems Residential replacement installations Light commercial HVAC equipment Additional requirements: Ability to lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and mechanical rooms What We're Looking For Technical skills are important, but they are only part of the job.
