Join Our Seasonal Team as a Gardener/Laborer in the Town of Brookline Parks & Open Space Division!

Are you passionate about nature, outdoor work, and keeping parks beautiful? The Town of Brookline Parks and Open Space Division is looking for motivated Seasonal Gardener/Laborers to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment while contributing to the beautification and maintenance of our local parks, green spaces, and public grounds.

As a Seasonal Gardener/Laborer, you’ll perform a wide variety of tasks including:

Mowing lawns and fields to maintain clean, inviting spaces
Raking, weeding, and hedge trimming for the perfect manicured look
Cleaning restrooms to ensure the parks are welcoming for all visitors
Laying mulch and removing invasive vegetation to help maintain ecological balance
Improving trails and enhancing park features to support outdoor recreation
Planting trees, shrubs, and flowers to beautify green spaces for the community

Qualifications:

Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather conditions
Comfortable with heavy lifting and using hand and power tools
Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor work is a plus!
