Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a direct impact working with young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area. This contract position places you at a single site, providing therapy and support to students in an Intensive Pre-School Classroom setting. The role is ideal for professionals passionate about early intervention and eager to collaborate with educators and support staff. Preference is given to candidates who bring experience or training supporting English Language Learners, or those holding an ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement.

Required qualifications:

• Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license
• Valid Colorado Department of Education certification
• SLP-CCC preferred; strong Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) candidates will be considered
• Experience or coursework in ELL or ESL strategies is highly valued
• Familiarity with the development and implementation of IEPs
• Comfortable conducting assessments and documenting progress toward measurable goals
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the dedicated SLP for an Intensive Pre-School Classroom, supporting a diverse caseload of early learners
• Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and deliver direct and consultative services
• Track student progress and update IEPs in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Support and, when needed, supervise SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
• Partner with teachers, interventionists, and families to ensure cohesive support for each child

You’ll work approximately 37.5 hours per week in this full-time role, focusing on practices that make a real difference for students’ speech, language, and communication growth.
