Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding client relationships within the food and specialty food industry. This position oversees local and regional sales activities, coordinates promotional campaigns, and serves as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, distributors, and partners. The Sales Representative also plays a key role in identifying new market opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction through responsive and knowledgeable service.

Essential Duties

• Oversee local and regional sales activities, promotions, and campaigns to achieve revenue targets.
• Direct and coordinate all sales activities locally and regionally to ensure consistent execution.
• Define and execute territory and category sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify emerging markets and new sales opportunities to support business growth.
• Set sales quotas and goals in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Prepare sales budgets and projections to support strategic planning.
• Track and analyze sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
• Set discount rates and determine price schedules in accordance with company policy.
• Make data-informed decisions to drive performance and optimize resource allocation.
• Manage inventory, profitability, and marketability of delegated product procurement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to support long-term business retention.
• Serve as the face of the organization to internal and external partners.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding products or services in a timely and professional manner.
• Advise distributors and dealers on company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Understand overall order processing operations to provide backup support for other team members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams including warehouse, logistics, and accounting departments.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and account updates.

Working Hours, Working style Monday-Friday:8am-4pm

Working Location Paramount, CA

Salary, Benefit $70K-85K Medical /Dental insurance Paid Holiday Paid Vacation 401k available after 1 year employment Bonus Holidays Saturday + Sunday + 10th Holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience in the food or beverage industry or a closely related food distribution field.
• English: Full professional proficiency (required).
• Japanese: Full professional proficiency (required).
• Strong knowledge of food and/or beverage products, supply chain logistics, and industry pricing.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
