Specific responsibilities and qualifications include: Planning for and teaching small group orchestra lessons Planning for and teaching large orchestra ensemble classes Collaborating with a team teacher in the orchestra classes to plan for small group lessons and sectionals Knowledge of beginning and intermediate school string orchestra repertoire In depth knowledge of string pedagogy for bass, cello, viola, and violin Ability to perform on at least one string instrument at a proficient level Familiarity with instructional technology REQUIREMENTS: NJ Teaching Certification – Music K -12 Exemplary Technology Skills Ability to collaboratively interact with students, parents, and colleagues Montgomery Township School District is an E0E/AA Employer and complies with all local, state, and federal laws including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act (S2310).
