Takes inventories and assists in compiling stock records. Adheres to all policies and procedures documented in the Materials Management policy and procedure manual. Ability to work with high degree of accuracy and meet continuous deadlines. Ability to work at a completely confidential level. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as general computer knowledge. Education, Licensure, Registration and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three (3) months experience preferred. Essential Functions: Keeps storeroom and supply areas stocked daily, ensuring all items meet the needs of the organization. Report any inventory issues to Supply Chain Supervisor. Keep all supply areas clean, organized, and free of outdated products.
Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Maintain accuracy when performing all aspects of job.
Assists with training of new employees as needed. Signs for, unloads and inspects for damage all shipments at the time of arrival as observed by the Supply Chain Supervisor. Receive inventory in a timely matter into our ERP system, ensuring shipments are accurate.
Records and reports discrepancies to the Buyers at the time of discovery as observed by the Supply Chain Supervisor, Director, or Buyer. Marks and delivers supplies and equipment to proper departments. Continuously looks to improve process and flow related to materials handling. Reports to work on time and is at work as scheduled. Other departmental needs as determined by leadership.
Working Conditions: • Stand/Walk - 6-8 hrs • Sit - 1-2 hrs • Bend - up to 1/3 of time • Squat - up to 1/3 of time • Climb - up to 1/3 of time

Standards of Employment: Attends all mandatory education programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety and regulatory compliance. Appearance is professional, neat, clean, and appropriate for the work environment. Wears proper photo identification badge while on duty. Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times, as observed by peers and management. Attends monthly staff meetings and participates in monthly rounding process with manager to assure effective and timely two-way communications. Participates in and completes required department specific education and training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to department safety and specific job-related hazards.
