The Athens Orthopedic Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Loganville is a 2 OR orthopedic ASC providing professional and quality patient care in a cohesive team environment.

Job Duties

The RN assigned to the Ambulatory Surgery Center Pre-op and PACU area will be responsible for successful completion of the following job duties:

• Assist in the preparation of patients for surgery.
• Assisting anesthesia for blocks
• Completion of all patient assessment using appropriate nursing clinical knowledge and skills.
• Maintenance of airway and pain management of patients
• Discharge planning for patients.

Education/Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following education and experience:

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• Current licensure as Registered Nurse by the Georgia Board of Nursing
• Current BL and ACLS required
• PALS certification preferred
• One (1) year PACU or critical Care experience preferred
