Are you a self-starter, dependable, punctual , and reliable ? Legacy Village of Castle Pines is looking for a part-time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our assisted living and memory care event planning team. We offer a competitive wage of $17-$19/hour, depending on experience.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

In this role, you have the opportunity to plan and implement a wide range of recreational, physical, social, cultural, and religious events for our Memory Care or Assisted Living residents. You're responsible for organizing special seasonal events to celebrate resident milestones and holidays, ensuring that every day is filled with joy and excitement.

But it doesn't stop there! You have the chance to develop genuine relationships with our residents, sharing personal connections with them on a daily basis.

• Plan, implement, and demonstrate crafts with creativity to the Memory Care or Assisted Living residents
• Be able to drive residents to outings with the company car or 13-passenger bus
• Assists in developing and producing monthly calendars, newsletters, and other administrative duties as needed
• Teach exercise classes to the residents
• Answer phones at the front desk during the concierges' lunches
• Serve snacks and drinks during our happy hour and special events
• Maintain a clean workspace for activities

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT LIFE ENRICHMENT ASSISTANT?

The qualifications for the position are:

• 21 years or older
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid Training within a specific timeframe of hire
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with residents, families, and the general public
• Ability to make presentations to a variety of groups
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to plan, organize, and implement a varied program of social recreation, cultural, and religious activities for a large population of seniors
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Prior experience with Assisted Living or Memory Care patients
