Key Skills Understanding federal, state and local employment laws Using basic Microsoft Office Suite computer and workforce management programs Effectively using scheduling software Responsibilities Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet: 10ft – be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave 4ft – greet the guest, smile, and initiate a warm, helpful interaction Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience Work with your HR leader to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs for each area of the business, ensuring the right mix of experience and skills to deliver on the in-store and digital shopping experiences Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates Support team member and leader training needs and advocate for continuous learning Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices Be approachable and available by listening to team members and collaborating with appropriate leaders to take action as needed Deliver on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption Support your leader in following company compliance policies that mitigate risk to the team member experience Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible All other duties based on business needs Qualifications and Skills You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members You thrive in a fast‑moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success You are open to working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times) Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed Effective communication skills Work both independently and with a team Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes Accurately handle cash register operations as needed Frequent lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance Be capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties, including but not limited to drive‑up, carry‑out, etc. Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary) Flexible work schedule; come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts, and take required meal and rest breaks Benefits We care about and invest in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
