Hendrick MotorsportsLocation: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262Summary: Assists in the preparation and installation of the race car set-up to track specifications received from the crew chief and race engineers.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following:Assist in verifying compliance of the wheel location and offsets to NASCAR gauges.Assist in the finalization and verification of the race set-up of the vehicle.Assist in inputting set-up information into the database.Begin to learn to utilize Romer Arm to confirm set-up specifications and measurements.Reference set-up sheet from crew chief or race engineer to confirm weekly build specifications.Receive direction and guidance from more experienced set-up mechanics to assist in the set-up process.Assist the shop mechanics as needed.Desired Work Experience:5+ yearsEducation/Experience:Entry level knowledge. Requires basic knowledge and understanding of race car components.Must be somewhat skilled mechanically.
