What You'll Do

• Provide direct emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the ED setting
• Manage a diverse caseload including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and critical care treatments, including ventilator management and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Perform assessments, document patient care progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support in emergency procedures like conscious sedation, TPA administration, and spinal precautions
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• At least 2 years of ER or ED experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
• Skills in ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac interpretation, and emergency procedures

• Trauma experience and TPA administration knowledge
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to placement
