Accounting Coordinator

Dealership: L0637 South Central Finance Center Position: Dealership Accounting Coordinator Location: Kia of North Austin, TX Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities Process daily transactions: handle daily check and credit card deposits and assist with reconciling the cash sales accounting schedule. Audit car deals: review deals for accuracy and completeness using the Deal Checklist before submission to the Accounting Processing Center. Track and report issues: maintain notes on missing or incorrect items in the Booked and Pending report and support compliance tracking. Collaborate with store operations: work with store teams and Business Managers to implement process changes and ensure revenue recognition. Assist with accounting schedules: help maintain reconciled accounting schedules as assigned by the Business Manager. Cross‑train and provide backup: learn the Title & Registration Specialist role to support other accounting functions when needed. Meet performance standards: ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in all assigned tasks. Qualifications Attention to detail: accuracy in auditing and processing financial documents. Strong communication: strong verbal and written communication abilities. Time management: ability to prioritize and meet deadlines efficiently. Critical thinking: problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities. Active listening: understanding and responding effectively to team needs. Tech proficiency: comfortable using Microsoft Office and web‑based applications. Education: High school diploma required; preferred to have a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience: 1+ years in a dealership environment or experience processing car deals is preferred. Age: 18 years or older. Drug‑free workplace.
