Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, Missouri.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 8 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 5x8hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, supporting Neuro and Body IR procedures with at least 1 year of specialty experience.Details\n \n Interventional Radiology department within a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center\n Supports outpatient and inpatient procedures for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients of all acuities\n 2 biplane rooms, 2 single plane rooms, and a dedicated ultrasound room\n Utilizes Siemens fluoro and Phillips ultrasound equipment\n McKesson PACS and Cerner Powerchart used for imaging and charting\n Team includes 5 Body IR physicians, 3 Neurointerventional physicians, and up to 9 IR techs when fully staffed\n Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM\n Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week\n 2 techs on call each shift, a primary and secondary\n Requirements\n \n Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology required\n ARRT-R certification and BLS required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred\n MO or Compact license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable\n Proficient supporting Neuro and Body IR procedures using single and biplane radiography units\n Experience with procedures including Y90, TIPS, chemoembolization, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stenting, drains, biopsies, LPs, kyphoplasty, line/port placement, filters, peripheral stents, AV fistula declot/stenting, and PE/DVT treatment\n Skilled in abdominal, pelvic, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary IR studies and procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and catheter/drain exchange\n Cerner charting experience preferred\n Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I experience preferred\n Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs\n Additional Information\n \n First-time travelers accepted\n Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility for rotating shifts, holidays, and inclement weather coverage\n Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract\n Routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses\n Floating may be required within the clinical scope per facility policy\n Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration; those residing 51-74 miles away may be offered the local rate\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-693251.
