Respiratory Manager

Lead and develop respiratory caregivers across multiple HME locations Ensure appropriate staffing, competency, and skill mix to meet patient needs and service expectations Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, corrective action, and disciplinary processes Build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement Partner with clinical leaders, operations teams, physicians, and other departments to optimize patient care and service delivery Develop and implement programs improving quality, efficiency, patient experience, and caregiver engagement Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance Identify cost savings and operational efficiencies Ensure respiratory equipment is available, maintained, and functioning properly Monitor compliance with organizational policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable regulatory standards Implement improvements to policies, processes, and workflows based on industry best practices and regulatory changes Conduct regular onsite rounding and travel across multiple locations Maintain clinical competency and fulfill required clinical responsibilities Requirements Demonstrated respiratory therapy experience Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field from an accredited program Ability to lead teams and drive results Ability to navigate difficult employee relations situations Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographically dispersed locations Strong business acumen, financial stewardship, and operational excellence Ability to see and read information, documents, monitors, equipment, and supplies Ability to verbally communicate and hear and understand spoken information Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment Frequent computer use Ability to drive where roles require driving Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in respiratory therapy leadership, including team development, operational management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
