System Administrator

USC / GC System AdministratorSystem Administrator to join its growing IT Team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of company computer systems. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of networking, server technology, monitoring, patching, and security, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills.Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this position is responsible for:Designing, building and managing Windows Servers Solutions and Linux solutionsEffectively monitoring, securing and remediating security vulnerabilitiesAutomating repetitive tasks such as Windows updates and virus managementManaging highly available server environment with limited room for downtimeManaging various server roles, such as clustering, Hyper-V, file services, IIS, RDS, and other Windows componentsMentoring other members of the teamDeveloping and updating technical documentationManaging identity and access platforms such as Okta and Active DirectoryConfiguring and maintaining DNS and other core network servicesAdministering Microsoft 365 services and applicationsManaging G Suite Products, such as Gmail and Google DriveProviding application support for Enterprise SystemsMaintaining physical data center hardware and related systemsManaging VMware ESXi hosts and the virtualized server environment including Omnissa Horizon VDIExperience with AWS and Azure managing App ServicesFamiliarity with NetApp, Pure Storage, and other Enterprise Storage SolutionsRequirements for System Administrator:Must be able to work in-office in St. Peters, MO5+ years of system administration experienceExcellent analytic skillsIn-depth knowledge of networking and server technologyProven experience in server managementStrong communication skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to turn complex concepts into understandable content for non-technical usersPay Rate and Benefits for System Administrator:Salary commensurate with experienceGroup Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, etc.)401k with Employer MatchDiscounted company policiesDiscounted Tuition at Lindenwood UniversityProfessional development opportunitiesBasketball, and other recreation available on-siteFitness facilities, with the option to take classes led by on-staff personal trainer (at St. Peters headquarters)And more!
