Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 months
Required Qualifications / Must-Haves
- Proven hands-on SEO experience managing SEO programs for service-based businesses ; experience with law firms is highly preferred .
- Strong experience with WordPress , including SEO optimization and site structure.
- Proven experience managing website migrations, redesigns, consolidations, and domain changes while minimizing organic traffic loss.
- Strong Local SEO experience, including Google Business Profile (GBP) optimization and management.
- Experience developing and executing technical SEO strategies.
- Experience with on-page SEO, keyword research, internal linking, metadata, structured data, and site architecture.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, crawling, indexing, canonicalization, redirects, and technical SEO audits.
- Experience developing SEO-focused content strategies and working with writers/content teams.
- Experience with AI search optimization , including AIO (AI Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) .
- Experience monitoring organic search performance and communicating results to clients.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to independently manage multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute SEO strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for improving organic search performance.
- Develop and execute local SEO strategies for service-based businesses.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles , including categories, services, business information, reviews, and local visibility.
- Develop keyword strategies, content roadmaps, on-page optimization plans, and internal linking strategies.
- Optimize WordPress websites for search performance, crawlability, speed, structure, and user experience.
- Plan and execute website migrations and site consolidations , including URL mapping, redirects, canonicalization, indexing, and post-migration monitoring.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues involving crawling, indexing, duplicate content, broken links, metadata, structured data, and site architecture.
- Develop strategies for AIO, AEO, and GEO to improve visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines.
- Monitor organic traffic, rankings, conversions, local visibility, and other SEO KPIs.
- Prepare clear SEO reports and communicate performance, opportunities, and recommendations to clients.
- Work directly with clients to understand business goals and translate them into measurable SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with developers, content writers, designers, and other digital marketing professionals.
- Stay current with Google algorithm updates, SEO best practices, local search changes, and emerging AI search technologies.
