Advisor III, Application Development

Job Overview Phillips 66 & YOU - Together we can fuel the future The Advisor III, Cloud Development role on the Midstream Business Systems team focuses on delivering innovative digital solutions and driving operational efficiencies across the Midstream organization. This position requires a strong technical foundation, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work in an agile environment to support and resolve complex business software challenges. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for learning, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Designing, building, and maintaining full‑stack applications that support Midstream. Collaborating with project teams, business analysts, enterprise architects, database administrators, and developers to design and implement solutions for business challenges. Automating processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability. Ensuring solutions meet or exceed compliance and audit requirements. Applying agile development methodologies and best practices. Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for code deployment and integration. Required Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the job posting country. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3+ years of experience in application development, software maintenance, or related IT roles. Intermediate or higher proficiency in designing, debugging, and supporting application software. Intermediate or higher proficiency with testing processes, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.Intermediate or higher proficiency in supporting or integrating with databases, APIs, or third‑party systems. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development. Oil and Gas industry experience, particularly in Midstream operations. Experience with DevSecOps practices. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of standard support concepts, practices, and procedures related to cloud technologist. Expertise in automating testing, monitoring, alerting, and security scans. Strong communication skills and ability to lead technical discussions. Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $121,500 - $148,500.
