Job Title RN II Location Long Beach Medical Center Department Adult Oncology Status Full‑time Shift Nights (12-Hr AWS) Position Summary The RN, Registered Nurse provides safe, cost‑effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Adult Oncology department at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Safety and risk management. 5% Assesses patients. 15% Develop a written plan of care using assessment database. 15% Implements patient care. 15% Evaluates and revises patient care. 15% Staff Development. 5% Collaboration and working with others. 5% Interpersonal relationships and communication. 5% Unit, department, and hospital contributions. 5% Performance appraisal. 5% Working responsibilities. 5% Customer Service. 5% Skills Roster. 5% Other duties as assigned. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $50/hr–$74.98/hr Additional shift differentials available. Bonus: $10,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements. Minimum Requirements Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) unless waived by Nurse Executive Council review. Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include ACEN and CCNE. The ideal candidate will have nursing experience in (specialty) in an acute care hospital. Must have a current cancer‑specific certification by an accredited certification program or 12 hours of cancer‑specific continuing education each calendar year; or must complete 12 cancer‑specific CEU hours or have a current cancer‑specific certification by an accredited certification program within one year of employment in an oncology unit. A certification is qualified if it includes cancer‑specific criteria. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy or OCN certification highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
