Vendor Sourcing Specialist

The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing and contracting with new vendors that will provide rewards as part of our marketplace. The role requires deep knowledge of the B2B incentive market and focuses on the full vendor acquisition cycle, including sourcing, negotiating and contracting with vendors. The Specialist will own the post‑launch vendor relationship and ensure compliance with internal teams, including Information Security, Finance and Legal. This is a 12‑month contract. Vendor Sourcing Source new vendors based on the strategic direction. Establish and refine preliminary vendor requirements to meet compliance in information security, financial stability and legal obligations. Conduct initial assessments and audits of vendor capabilities. Conduct market research to identify potential vendors that align with business objectives and customer needs. Act as the primary point of contact for new vendors, leading them through the launch process. Negotiating and Contracting Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions. Work closely with internal teams to ensure all necessary agreements are signed and executed promptly. Own vendor relationships post‑launch, maintaining ongoing communication and managing any issues that arise. Cross‑Functional Coordination Collaborate with Information Security, Finance, Legal and other relevant departments to ensure new vendors meet all internal requirements. Work closely with the Vendor Onboarding Specialist to ensure a smooth vendor integration process. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor products meet customer and business needs. Continuous Improvement Provide feedback on market trends to inform future sourcing strategies. Suggest and implement improvements to the vendor sourcing process to ensure efficiency and scalability. Stay up to date on industry trends and vendor best practices to drive innovation and improvement. Experience We Feel Will Set You Up for Success Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management or a related field. 5+ years of experience in vendor sourcing, procurement or a similar role. Proven track record in successful negotiation and vendor management. Understanding of the global incentive market. Strong understanding of contract management and legal compliance. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The salary range for this role is $56,000 to $70,000, reflecting the market data and qualifications of the selected candidate.
