Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Grayslake, IL

Orientation will take place August 12th-14th, with four openings available for this rewarding role. Desired Qualifications Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois SLP license (must provide verification) Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (must provide verification) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Committed to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive care Key Responsibilities Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultation for a K-12 caseload (student populations and grade levels to be determined) Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) per state and federal guidelines Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Participate in eligibility meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions This contract position offers 35 hours per week, fully onsite, providing the opportunity to grow your skills and build meaningful student relationships.
