Job Duties

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-backed methods to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapy methodologies to support continued progress in home settings
• Track and Update Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust interventions accordingly to ensure patients remain on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
