Are you a hands-on Design Engineer who enjoys turning concepts into real, buildable products? Join a collaborative team where your steel designs go beyond the screen and into production—impacting real-world applications.

What You’ll Do

• Design steel components and assemblies focused on strength, manufacturability, and cost
• Create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings (including weld symbols and tolerances)
• Perform and review structural analysis to ensure performance and safety
• Support full design lifecycle—from concept through fabrication and testing
• Participate in prototype builds and use results to improve designs
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, and complete release packages for production
• Review engineering documents for accuracy and quality compliance
• Collaborate with shop teams to improve efficiency and manufacturability
• Work directly with customers to refine designs and meet project requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred)
• Experience with 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Autodesk, Fusion, or similar)
• Strong fabrication drawing skills (weld symbols, tolerances, detailing)
• Experience with structural analysis
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required)

• Experience in steel structures or fabrication design
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturing or shop teams
• Familiarity with QA processes and fabrication workflows
• Background using Autodesk, Fusion, or SolidWorks

This is a Permanent position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
