Date Posted: 2026-05-20 Location United States of America, Tewksbury, MA Role Overview Finance Director to lead Strategic Business Unit (SBU) & Governance Finance within the Engineering Function. Serves as key business partner to the Engineering SBU, Office of the Chief Engineer and Engineering Execution organizations, driving enterprise‑wide financial insight and operational discipline. Key Responsibilities Partner effectively with Raytheon Engineering SBU, Office of the Chief Engineer and Execution leadership teams. Lead five direct reports and a team of ~115 Engineering Business Analysts across Raytheon programs. Drive Engineering financial execution, including Estimate at Complete (EACs), earned value support, performance against Annual Operating Plan (AOP), staffing demand analysis and tracking cost control initiatives. Partner with the Rates team to ensure alignment on labor‑based and hiring expense assumptions. Leverage CORE approach to assess and mature processes and drive continued improvement and harmonization. Drive effective labor demand forecasting across all SBUs and product lines (monthly forecast, AOP, Long‑Range Plan). Proactively lead self‑initiated analysis, solve problems and resolve issues. Prepare and present effective leadership presentations. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 12 years of experience. Experience with Raytheon Program Finance and/or Functional Finance. Prior management experience leading large teams. Experience performing program financial and earned value analysis. Experience partnering cross‑functionally and influencing positive change with and without direct authority. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and empowering teams to solve problems. Experience in Aerospace / Defense programs. Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements. Working knowledge of SAP and other industry standard financial tools. Broad knowledge of financial systems as well as project management skills. Experience with the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process. Earned Value Management experience or certification. Advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead cross‑functional teams. Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable speaking in large groups and can confidently share opinions at all levels of management. Benefits Salary range: $186,200 – $353,800 USD.
