Job Opportunity

Coverage Location: St. Joseph Warren Hospital, Warren, Ohio

Practice Setting: L&D, OB/GYN

Reason for Coverage: Insufficient number of employed physicians and midwives to cover the laborist model

Dates of Coverage: Starting as soon as possible until more providers are hired

Schedule: Physicians 7a-7p, Midwives 7p-7a

Call Schedule: Physician call for midwife 7p-7a

Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: Not applicable - not outpatient

Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 full time laborist physician and 1 full time laborist midwife

Will Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: Nicole Carlson, MD, Chardina Murray Mangino, CNM

Number of APPs Providing Coverage: 1

Onsite Lab: Yes

Onsite Ultrasound: Yes

Describe Office Equipment: Not applicable - L&D unit

Describe Support Staff: RNs, CNM

Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: Not applicable - L&D Unit

Percentage of Practice is GYN: Only ER coverage for unassigned

Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc., High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.)

Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
