Adult Respiratory TherapistLocation: Toledo, OHAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule: Night 3x12-Hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00.Job Description: The Adult Respiratory Therapist will function in a high-pressure environment, providing comprehensive care to patients in various settings, including adult and pediatric critical care units. The therapist will leverage their advanced skills in respiratory care, medication administration, and emergency response to ensure optimal patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesProvide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, including critical care interventions.Administer medications and therapeutic treatments for various respiratory conditions.Document patient assessments and treatment responses using the Epic charting system.Respond to emergency situations, performing CPR and assisting with rapid responses.Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning processes, including BiPAP and CPAP therapies.Assist in pediatric care as needed, including high-risk deliveries and Peds ER patients.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 1 year of experience in adult critical care and respiratory therapy.Must have an active Ohio RRT license and NRP certification prior to start date.BLS and ACLS certifications required.Experience with pediatric respiratory care is preferred.Familiarity with ventilators: Servo I, Avea, and Bella Vista is preferred.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
