Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (No Rotating Shifts!)

About the Role

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our Router Department . This is an excellent entry-level manufacturing opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and working as part of a production team.

The General Laborer will assist with the daily operations of the Router Department by preparing materials, handling parts, assisting with production processes, performing basic measurements and inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable manufacturing experience and learn more about CNC routing equipment, blueprint reading, quality inspection, and other production processes.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily production activities within the Router Department.
• Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials and finished parts.
• Prepare and cut materials for production as directed.
• Assist Router Operators and other department employees with production needs.
• Perform basic part finishing, cleaning, deburring, and material preparation as required.
• Learn to read and understand basic manufacturing blueprints, work orders, and production documentation.
• Perform basic measurements and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Inspect materials and finished parts for visible defects or quality concerns.
• Safely operate basic hand tools and other manufacturing equipment as trained.
• Package, label, stack, and prepare completed parts for the next stage of production or shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Assist with other production duties within the Router Department as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Required:
  • High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required .
  • Willingness and ability to learn basic blueprint reading and measuring techniques.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Ability to accurately follow verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely work around tools, machinery, and moving equipment.
  • Ability to become Tow Motor certified through IGS; must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
