A leading regional cardiovascular program in New Mexico is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing one week of inpatient call coverage each month.

This assignment offers a highly desirable schedule, manageable call expectations, and the opportunity to work alongside an established cardiovascular team with excellent APP and physician support. Physicians will provide STEMI coverage, inpatient rounding, and perform overflow interventional procedures when needed while practicing in a collaborative hospital environment.

With premium compensation, low callback volume, and a consistent monthly schedule, this represents one of the strongest Interventional Cardiology call opportunities currently available in the Southwest.

Provider Pay: $4,500 per 24-hour call plus callback compensation.

Pay Ranking: Top 10% nationally for comparable Interventional Cardiology call-only assignments.

Preferred Coverage

• Monday 7:00 AM – Following Monday 7:00 AM
• Approximately one week each month
